Cocktails

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 bar spoons sugar syrup
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1-2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • small amount of carbonated water
  • 4-6 cl white rum

Preparation:

1. Pour rum, lemon juice, angostura and sugar syrup into a long drink glass.
2. Add crushed ice, fill up with a small amount of carbonated water and stir with a long stirrer.
3. Before serving put mint into the glass.


Ingredients:

  • 1 orange and 1 lemon
  • 5 mint sprigs
  • 10-12 strawberries
  • lemonade
  • 1 large transparent glass bottle

Preparation:

Find a nice large transparent glass bottle with a 3-5 cm diameter mouth. Cut a large unpeeled orange and lemon into wedges. Clean 10-12 small strawberries. Wash 5 young mint sprigs. Put them into the bottle. Fill the bottle with lemonade. Seal the bottle and place it into the refrigerator or a cold cellar for 7-8 hours. Serve in long glasses.


Ingredients:

  • 4 cl bourbon whiskey
  • 3 sprigs mint leaves
  • 1 cl sugar syrup
  • 2 bar spoons water

Preparation:

For decoration:

  • 1 sprig of mint leaves

1. Strip off leaves from sprigs and crush them in a tumbler.
2. Add leaves to water and sugar syrup and mix thoroughly.
3. Add plenty of crushed ice, pour on whiskey and stir with a bar spoon until glass is heavily frosted.
4. Decorate with mint sprig.


Ingredients:

  • 8 tablespoons peppermint syrup
  • 800 ml buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons peppermint
  • 6 scoops of lemon ice cream

Preparation:

Mix peppermint with syrup and buttermilk in a blender. Add lemon ice cream, stir for a short while, then pour the mixture into 6 glasses. Decorate top with mint leaves and serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cl white rum (e.g. bacardi rum light dry)
  • 4 cl orange juice
  • 4 cl pineapple juice
  • 4 cl maracuja juice

Preparation:

Ingredients for decoration:

  • 1 orange slice
  • 1 lime slice
  • 1 sprig of lemon balm

1. Add ice to ingredients and mix thoroughly in a shaker.
2. Strain mixture into a long drink glass.
3. Stick lime slice at top of glass and place a sprig of lemon balm in the glass before serving.
