Company history and information

We offer potted and fresh-cut herbs and potted lettuce. Our goal is to make our fresh-cut and potted herbs and spices available all year round as their use has become more and more widespead due to the increasing popularity of international cuisine.


Company history

1993: First year of potted herb production in an area of 400 m2 using small-scale cultivation technology.

1996: Herb garden moved to Albertirsa to produce herbs in an area of 1,200 m2.

1996-2002: Owing to the continued extension of the cultivation area, capacity incease and our employees’ excellent work, we soon became business partners with all major supermarket chains in Hungary. Size of the cultivation area increased to 5,000 m2. Started production and distribution of fresh-cut herbs.

2003-2004: Developed our ISO 9001-2000, HACCP and EUREPGAP quality certification systems to ensure the reliability of our production technology. Rapid growth in our sales led to the further extension of the cultivation area and technological modenization. Also started construction of a new cultivation site.

2005: Started production on the new site having a total area of 10 300 m2 and equipped with the latest technology (air-conditioning, energy-saving heating, flood irrigation, supplemental lighting, automation). Started production of potted lettuce as a new product.

2006: equipping 4000 m2 growing area with supplemental lighting. Introducing biological plant protection using the products of the company Biobest.

2007: Putting in operation an automated planting machine line. Increasing the size of the storage facilities, cold store, and introducing a new product preparation system.

2008:  Increasing the growing area by 2600 m2, and equipping another 4000 m2 growing area with supplemental lighting.
